June 26, 2014 – Montreal, Canada – Aimtec announces cULus safety certification on its 3 Watt AM3TI-RZ series and 6 Watt AM6TI-Z series DC-DC converters. Both series support wide 2:1 inputs of 9-18, 18-36, and 36-75 VDC, with input to output isolation offered in both 1500 and 3000VDC. Output selections of 3.3, 5, 12, 15 and 24VDC, plus dual outputs of ±3.3, ±5, ±12, ±15 and ±24VDC as well as continuous short circuit protection, make these very flexible options.
Alternatively the 3 Watt AM3TIW-RZ and 6 Watt AM6TIW-RZ series offers an extra wide input of 4:1 with 9-36, and 18-75VDC options available.
All 3 Watt and 6 Watt options operate within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and come in industrial standard DIP 24 package (size 31.80 x 20.30 x 10.20 mm) Both are offered in industry standard DIP 24 package.
These devices also provide overload protection, and input under voltage protection.
