08/02/2016

January 27, 2016 – Montreal, Canada – Aimtec announces the AM2DS-NZ, 2-W series DC-DC unregulated converters. AM2DS-NZ feature continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery restart. The restart feature will work continuously until the short-circuit condition is cleared protecting the converter, the load and the converter’s input circuit and source from extremely high currents caused by output short circuits.

Supported input voltages are 5, 12, 15 and 24 VDC with single or dual output voltages of (±)3.3, (±)5, (±)9, (±)12, (±)15 and (±)24VDC. The AM2DS-NZ series is offered with input-output isolation of 1500 or 3000 VDC, operates at an ambient temperature range of -40 to +105 °C (derating above 85 °C) and is available in a compact SIP7 package (19.6 x 7.0 x 10.0 mm). AM2DS-NZ converters are designed for versatility and easy integration into a multitude of applications such as digital, low-frequency analog and relay drive circuits in industrial, communication and computer systems.
