26/06/2014

June 26, 2014 – Montreal, Canada – Aimtec announces the AM2LS-NZ series DC-DC converter. This new cost effective unregulated AM2LS-NZ series of 2 watt power supplies features continuous short circuit protection with auto recovery restart.  The restart feature will work continuously until the short circuit condition is cleared, protecting the converter, the load, and the converter’s input circuit from extremely high currents a short circuit can cause.

Supported input voltages of 5, 12, and 24VDC convert to single output voltages of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15, & 24VDC.  Operating within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +105°C (derating at 71 and 85°C dependant on model), the AM2LS-NZ series is designed for versatility and can be integrated into a multitude of applications, such as digital circuits, low frequency analog, or relay drive circuits.

Available in a compact surface mount (SMD) package (12.70 x 11.20 x 7.25 mm), the AM2LS-NZ is offered with input output isolation of 1500VDC for easy integration in industrial, telecommunication and computer applications.

Samples are available from stock and can be ordered immediately from any of Aimtec’s global network of franchised distributors. Visit www.aimtec.com for more product information or to locate your nearest Distributor.
