June 4, 2014 – Montreal, Canada – Aimtec announces a new mounting plate option available on the following Aimtec 5 Watt, 10 Watt, and 20 Watt AC to DC power converters. All AMEL5-AZ, AMEL5-MAZ, AMEL10-AZ, AMEL10-MAZ, AMEL20-AZ, AMEL20-MAZ series now support a factory orderable option to add an industrial screw terminal mounting plate.
The new ST mounting option allows for fixed chassis application fastening, with input and output screw terminal wiring. This option allows greater flexibility in application usage, external power supply selection, and simplified product field replacement, as an alternative to standard PCB mounting package.
The ST option now extends Aimtec’s offering of existent chassis mounting product series (AMEC(S) 15/30/40-MAZ) from 5Watt up to 40Watts.
Chassis mount products can be ordered by simply adding the “-ST” suffix to the part number.
