October 27, 2016 – Montreal, Canada – Aimtec announces the release of its latest product the AMSRI-78-NZ series. This new switching regulator is pinout compatible with LM78xx linear regulators (SIP3). Highly efficient at up to 93%, the AMSRI-78-NZ series features an input range of up to 36VDC and produces output currents up to 500mA. Power is available up to 7.5 Watts. AMSRI-78-NZ supports thermal shutdown, continuous short circuit protection and very low no load consumption of ≤0.05W. The Series is UL Listed and is available in 3.3, 5, 9, 12 and 15 Vdc outputs.
Some typical applications include: Battery powered electronics, Industrial automation, Building automation, Smart meters and Smart lighting controls.
